| The Bluetick rifle was produced to commemorate the Bluetick coonhound. This hound is descended from the Grand Blue de Cascogne (French Staghound) and the English Foxhound and was developed in the United States during the 1900’s. In 1946 the Bluetick joined the UKC registry. The Bluetick is an exceptionally elegant, determined, scent trailing hound with a strong instinct to tree animals and is one of the favorite coon hunting hounds for licensed night trials. |
